Purpose of Position
Performs tasks in all phases of the development cycle with little or no technical supervision.
Appropriately assess problematic situations to gain adequate understanding of problems
involved and assume the responsibility of delivering complex tasks on time and in scope within
the team’s plan.
Takes a leadership role when working with peers and coaches junior and semi-senior
developers/analysts.
Attends conference calls and exchanges e-mails with clients.
Performs difficult coding tasks, Designs and codes complete small software modules.
Performs code reviews.

Tasks and Responsibilities
●Working closely with customer’s teams.
●Working with other developers to redesign and implement large-scale high availability
systems
●Architectural planning and design
●Manage the interaction between the client and the offshore teams.
●Design and implement REST APIs

QUALIFICATIONS
●5-10 years’ experience as a backend developer
●Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Master’s preferred).
●Strong experience with Scrum and TDD
●Computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc).
●Fluency in Javascript framework / libraries.
●Experience in Node.js
●Strong working knowledge of XML/XSL/JSON, HTML, and associated modern
technologies
●Experience developing enterprise class systems with NoSQL/document-based data
storage.
●Experience working with AWS
●Experience designing and developing APIs
●HTML/CSS/React.js is a plus
●Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
